La ciclista antioqueña Estefanía Herrera, del equipo Colombia Pacto Por El Deporte-GW Shimano, hoy recibió el título de campeona del Tour Femenino, luego defender el liderato en la última etapa de 55 kilómetros disputada entre Puerto Seco y La Plata.
La corredora paisa, de 31 años, que se apoderó del liderato el día anterior, se llevó el título de la competencia tras cinco días de competición. El podio lo completaron la venezolana Lilibeth Chacón (Clarus-Merquimia-Strongman), y Ana Cristina Sanabria (Colombia Pacto Por El Deporte-GW Shimano).
La última etapa de ronda femenina quedó en manos de la venezolana Lilibeth Chacón (Clarus-Merquimia-Strongman), quien logró su segunda victoria en la presente edición ambas al sprint.
El lote controló la carrera en el tramo final, atajando ataques y dejando todo al embalaje, en el que Chacón se llevó el triunfo por delante de Elizabeth Castaño (Colombia Pacto Por El Deporte-GW Shimano) y de Kimberly Escobar (Team SuperGiros-Alcaldía de Manizales).
